My first 5 were two points.  I was in school so Mom's rule was to shoot the first legal deer then get back to class.

Mine was a 2x2 whitetail taken at Fort Knox Kentucky, I was 15 & shot him with an old mossberg shotgun and slugs. Boy was I proud. Aimed at his chest and hit him in the neck at the base of his head. Dropped him in his tracks.  :chuckle:   Horns are mounted in the garage still today 30 years later. Mike

For the Poll:  Are we counting browtines?

I selected 4x3, but it actually scored as 6x3 blacktail that scored 114 5/8.  It was a 4 x 3 with double eye guards on the 4 point side.  The eyeguards on the 3 point side didn't quite break the 1 inch threshold.

My hunting partner spotted it across a canyon in the Bino's, but had already filled his tag.  So, I got to shoot.   14 years old and a blacktail probably of a lifetime.  I didn't even know what i had gotten into at the time.  The realization set in at school, when i was getting congratulated by juniors and seniors that I didn't even think I knew existed.  It started to sink about then.

I'll wait to vote til I get the browtine question answered, but here's a pic.  I was 13.  Shot him behind the ear at about 5 yards as he was jumping over a log.  Just about pissed myself...
