I vote for a 3/4 mount or a full mount with your bear. That's going to be a hard one to beat.

If any of you read my posts a few weeks ago I have been after this bear for two years.  Finally after 200 hours in the blind Meet Bear number 32 I got him 730AM this morning, this boy is a HOG.  Probably not to many around like him anymore, hes over 7 feet, 400 pounds and a Boon and Crockett Skull.  Im very Happy with this beautiful Black Bear!

Big Jon

Awesome, I saw your photos in your first post and agreed that it was a huge bear, you can tell by the way it's built. Congratulations, that's one heckuva bear and you are far more devoted to the hunt than most hunters. Over 200 hours is an amazing feat in it's own right! I'm anxious to hear what the head officially scores when you get it measured, there are not that many bear from Washington that make the book, congrats on taking the bear of a lifetime! His photos of the bear alive: https://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,227203.0.html

Having seen a lot of live bear and dead bear I know that any 7 foot bear is pretty heavy and that bear has been eating bait so I figured he was probably fat as well, it appears that way in the photos. I probably should apologize for this, but I made a wager with another member that the bear would be closer to 400 than 200 if it was taken and weighed, by any chance did you weigh any part of the bear on a scale?

Awesome bear!  Congrats on getting him.  I know it is tough waiting for those pigs to enter a shooting lane.

Nice bear and good job on being patient, glad it was finally rewarded!

Dream bear congrats!  Only way I could do that much time in the blind would be asleep!
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
