It happened again....
« on: May 30, 2018, 11:04:53 PM »
Went up to my cabin this last weekend to check cams and spend some good mountain time. Went to grab the cam 150 yards from my cabin, on MY property, to see that someone had decided it was better in their possession along with the block I had out there. That’s number two for the year that I’ve had swiped. Getting really irritated.

Sounds like its time for a dummy cam set up! Sorry to hear, thieves suck!

:yeah: and put a elevated cam pointed at the dummy cam. Time to confront the thief

Probably have a trespassing neighbor close by.

That's a piss off  :bash: I've had 2 stolen so far and trying to come up with a good way to track them. I have some Tiles that i was going to slip inside but they aren't the best tracking device for this situation.

I should have phrased it differently. One was stolen off my property and one was stolen from a different location/part of the state. Very frustrating all around. It’s amazing what people will do for a $70 camera and box set up. Hopefully life slaps them so hard in the face they can’t get up. I hate thieves. I work hard for the little I do have and this stuff sets me off like none other

Some people just plain suck!!  I had a bear bite and break the sensor on a camera last week that was in a box, but it didn't even bother me, because my first thought was...…at least it wasn't STOLEN!

Sorry that sucks. I had my most expensive cam jacked last season. Very disappointing. Thief’s are the scum of the earth

Nothing worse the a thief and a FN liar. Time to set a really hidden cam on a dummy cam. You should be able to get a tracking devise to put in the dummy (cheap) cam and get a pic with the 2nd cam.

I think I’ll do that. Set a pair and rebait the trap. They know one was there and will probably come back at some point to see if it was replaced.
