I got a P365 at a local shop and it wasn't even price gouged like I've seen online and at other retailers, but typically local shops don't have what I want and have to order it anyways.

Like others, I try to throw the money towards a local shop when I can. My problem is that the stuff I buy is getting so obscure that the local shops haven't even heard of most of this stuff let alone laid hands on it! :chuckle:

I do know one shop who actually prefers handling online transfers. He likes getting to just collect a paperwork fee and not have to deal trying to stock products that don't end up selling.

The only time I've not made a sale for a customer that purchased on-line was:

1: My distributors did not have them in stock
2: A customer was not willing to wait for the requested firearm to come back into stock and paid more at another dealer than what I quoted.

Those were two separate customers requesting two different guns.
I have never lost a sale on price.
There have been times during my market research that online prices were below my dealer price though.
