Arizona unit 4A late rifle ELK

Got lucky and drew a late rifle arizona elk tag in unit 4A with ZERO point, I have never killed an elk and only hunted elk a handful of times, I will be driving down and setting up camp a week before to scout once I get done with my Idaho whitetail hunt over thanksgiving. Does anybody have any experience or suggestions in a late rifle arizona elk hunt? Dont want to shoot a spike, I would be happy with a raghorn for my first bull, but would take a spike if it was the only way to fill my tag. Thanks in advance and I look forward to hearing your stories and seeing some pictures of dead elk!!!

Congrats on the draw! That is one of the hunts I looked at when applying in AZ too. Decent draw odds but sounds like it may be a tough hunt. Hope you're able to pull it off! Sounds like you're not going to be too picky so that should help.
