Yelp is correct, you do not have to be there --- The State Chapter Website will have the form and list this each year ... they just got late starts last year and this year - we try hitting the sportsmens shows, go thru local chapters, sell them at our banquets if possible, etc .... just hard getting the word out otherwise ... would be nice to start this earlier and get it in the fall and spring regs too ...

This was so much better when you could do it online through WDFW.  There is no chapter of NWTF in Yakima(and the one that was here was sketchy at best). Maybe it would be better if someone from Nwtf would go to the Central Wa Sportsman show? I agree with supporting the cause(when the money is used for helping the birds and not throwing booze filled bbq's for committee members) but why make it so difficult for people to buy tickets... I bought them every year until they turned it over to NWTF and even had 2 buddies get drawn in seperate years.

Just my opinion, I'll keep my money in my wallet.
hey, where's Professor Chaos? Anyone seen him?

Can't disagree with what you said about making it easier ... what's your suggestion to make it better?

They were available at www.wanwtf.com (state chapter website), they got sold at NWTF banquets that were held before Mar 15th, I sold them at the Washington Sportsmans Show in Puyallup for 5 days, all day at Cabelas on Feb 28th, Sportsmans Warehouse on Mar 7th, and I would have gladly hooked anyone up if they wanted (ie - they mail me a check for the tickets with their name, address, and phone number ... I fill out and return the stub for the drawing and I return the other portion to the buyer. The state takes the lions share and after expenses the money the NWTF does get will go for outreach programs for kids, women, and the disabled.  It isn't much, but it helps.

Bottom line .. give us your suggestions to make it better.

set something up online for people who don't want to mail a check.

or go back to the way it was with the proceeds being donated to the NWTF by WDFW.
