A friend of mine just bought a 2018 Chevy 2500. $52,000!! Just no way I could do it and I can afford one. I'll just stay with my 2002 Tacoma until it dies.

Bought my wife a new Explorer Platinum last fall, I still can't believe what that cost. Hey, if you ever decide you want to update to a 2013 Tacoma I could help you out with that, low miles too.

Not only can they not afford one, but it sounds like they don’t really need one either. Probably don’t have a pot to piss in, but they like the look they portray. If you’re buying a new diesel and you don’t have at least 20-30k to put down, you probably shouldn’t be jumping in. The next recession will weed out the idiots.
