Weaver makes a dandy little 2.5-7 Rimfire scope.  I had one on my Savage 219 in 22 Hornet, it worked great on it.

Street price is usually quite a bit less.

I put a BSA on my Ruger 10/22 ten years ago and it has been banged and bumped around like no scope should be. Mine is a 4x, but Midway has a 2-7 for $58.99. I usually buy better glass than I need to, but I've gotten a lot of bank for the buck from this cheap scope. Haven't had to resight it once.

I bought a Tasco World Class 3x9x40 at the Sports Corral in Joseph OR a while back. I think I paid $60 for it. Been a great scope.
