Cabin Stove

Anyone have a good cabin stove they would recommend for roughly 400 sq ft cabin.  Well insulated.  this stove will be used everyday for a winter.  Thanks for any recommendations.

Or do you think I would be way better off with propane?  If so what's a good propane stove with the same requirements?

Most of the name brand companies i am sure would be able to fill your need, Lopi etc.
If looking used i would look for a good condition Fisher wood stove, those are some good stoves.  and if i remember they come in 3 sizes, Big bear, Mama bear and Baby bear

Never own a cabin without a wood stove. Having a propane stove in addition is great but propane can't  displace humidity  nor quickly heat a cabin like wood.

Find some one parting out an old RV get the furnace and the stove/oven you might even pick up a fridge. But those could be suspect on working.

Get a blaze king.

We are happy with our Lopi 1250.  Our cabin is 640 sq feet.  Can also add a blower to it.

Dang Machias... sounds like you are getting your own reality TV show...   

For what it's worth, I had a Blaze King in my log house.  Loved it.  400 sq ft is pretty small, shouldn't take much stove to heat it.

400 square feet isn't that much. One of those cast iron kits from harbor freight would probably work, for both heating and cooking.

     Did some research on  wood stoves awhile back and talked with some different folks and hands down the best wood stove built.
