2009 Spring Bear GMU Poll
« on: March 14, 2009, 06:47:44 AM »
Now that the deadline has passed, who put in for what?

I put in for a point and my wife put in for Capitol Forest so I checked both boxes.

Well I didn't get drawn for either N Skagit or Monroe.  Guess I'll suck it up & not whine as I got a nice spring bear in N Skagit last year.  I was drawn last year w/2 points.  Mebbe I should hire out as a N Skagit guide?!  Be nice to Derrick the security guy on the Hamilton Mainline-he's good people.

If you see an old dude on a black mtn bike snoop'in around on Sierra Pacific property, don't run him into the ditch-its me!  Sayleen, you the one who's 61?  Golly! pretty long in the tooth to be in the woods isn't it? (I'll be 69 in June & my goal is for a 500# Black bear & I kill to each other when I'm 85).

Good Hunt'in you guys!  Leave a few few for 1 Aug!!!!!!

The pastor from our church drew the Mountainview tag.  My son thinks I need to get right with God and maybe WDFW will be kinder to us... :chuckle:

Put in for N. Skagit and was selected with only two points.  Not too familiar with the area though.  Not to give up everyones hunting spots but can anyone lead me in the right direction as far a general area in the 418
