$150 scope
« on: June 10, 2018, 10:33:50 AM »
I have seen the Vortex Diamondback 3.5-10x50 v-plex scope for sale at a couple different places just under $150.

As far as new scopes go is there a better option at this price point? Is this a quality scope for the price? It would mostly be for hunting Westside so bdc would not be that necessary I guess.

That is a great scope for the price, I have one on my daughter's rifle and have never really thought about upgrading.

You would be hard pressed to find better quality at that price point.

Good to hear. If I could get a decent scope and keep the wife happy with the price all the better.

You may be able to find a leupold vx1 at closeout prices.  They were going for $120-150.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

I have two Burris FullField II scopes and both have been flawless on top of heav-recoil rifles(300WSM Tikka).
I compared directly to Leupold and the clarity made the choice easy, the lack of detent adjustments on the Leupold is just appalling.
Burris can be found for around $150 without much trouble.
