I have a old German double barrel rifle and have no idea what caliber it is. I swung by Cabela's yesterday to see if they could 1) give me an estimated value and 2) tell me what caliber it is. The buyer wasn't interested in spending much time doing research because it wasn't one of the 2 big names in German rifles.
So... I'm thinking of ordering some Cerrosafe from Brownells and doing a chamber casting myself. I'll use it one time and I'll be glad to share it with someone that needs to do a casting. It's advertised as "never wears out".
