Man...you sound confident. Another guy on here was confident too (had an inside source) that said it was last Thursday. I know that no one is for sure, but it sure is fun to see the confidence.

Plus the draws are all about speculation and I have a ton of fun with that. "What will I draw?" "Family draw...?" "Friends draw?". What days to take off from work, etc etc.

Haha...I really have no idea which day, other than I was told it is supposed to be this week.

I think all of you "fun with numbers" finally swayed him.

I've gone through an emotional roller coaster over the last week.  Sunday the 10th I was so excited for the drawing that was absolutely going to occur on the 11th.

On the 11th, I never gave up hope until I finally did.  For the first time in over a year, my cell phone was on my night stand so I could check throughout the night.

On the 12th, I realized WDFW had probably just made a simple mistake and were going to correct it by 10AM in the morning.  When that didn't happen, I began to go into a downward spiral of doubt and confusion.

By Wednesday night, I was at a loss for words.  WDFW was now 2 day past the date that I knew they were supposed to post the drawing results.  This couldn't possibly be right.  What was happening?  Maybe it's a sign - do I sell everything and take up golf and church softball like the rest of the guys I know?

By Friday night, I had finally come to terms with anger.  The incompetence of WDFW knows no bounds.  They're clearly a part of the Deep State and in bed with Comey and Clinton.  WDFW had singled me out and said "whatever it takes, don't let that guy see the results."  With Trump over 3,000 miles away, I knew there was no winning.  WDFW had come out victorious in their anti-hunting, pro-wolf agenda.

It was a long weekend with a lot of deep reflection, working on painting my house, and of course precious time with the kids on Fathers Day.

This good break gave me an opportunity to come to terms with reality:  There will be no drawing this year.

That's what I heard also, no drawing this year and they are going to cancel the hunting season as well.  Give the animals a break.  No draw next year either.  There will be a hunting season but no special permits.  You will have to pick east or west side and will have to pick deer or elk. There will be no antler restriction or sex restriction, just a bag limit of one animal.

That sounds like a great plan, seriously. Let everyone concentrate on nothing but predators for one year.

I'm not extremely particular but I'd like some red meat in the freezer

I’m pretty sure the WDFL Draw is quoted in the Bible correct me if I’m wrong.....”No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the DFDW”
