Ordering a new string
« on: June 10, 2018, 05:56:47 PM »
Trying to order a new string from 60x. Listed on my bow is STR 56.123 BC 32.50 and CC 34.75

It’s a hoyt carbon spyder 30 with 29 inch draw 60-70 pounds. I’m trying to figure out my cable length and cable 2 length it’s asking for. I’m assuming the STR is string length. Thanks for the help

Ok I figured the length out but it’s asking if my string is a 4/5 piece set. What does this mean? Think I got everything else covered

Roger I got the string today but rock creek said he thinks I should just save them and my string was still good to go. Did buy a rest and a dozen new arrows from him. Good dude and knows his stuff on bows!

Depends on how old your current string is and how much it has been shot.  If it is shooting good then keep the new set for back up.  A good friend cut a string out hunting, and didnt have a back up set.  So he went to his back up bow.  When he did get to town new strings took 2 weeks to get.  So I would always have a back up set ready.  I usually put new strings on and old strings become back up.
