Sorry to hear you had such problems with their customer service. I guess that's the direction these companies are going now days. I guess there are other fish in the lake.

So Sitka gear breaks down after a few years, got it. I wasn't a big fan of the K brand when I saw it in person. I'll probably go cheap until there's another brand that comes up I like. Thanks for the info guys
Hey Champ, ALL  brands could have an issue with some of their gear at some point, I own lots of Sitka gear and this is the first problem I have had, if you think you can buy gear and never have an issue with something you are dreaming .... you better keep buying cheap gear

To each their own. Im a penny pincher, what can I say

They’re clothes, not a Stanley thermos.  We’ve all worn holes in our pants, shirts, and underwear and these are no different.  Well, except that they are manufactured with higher technicality for a unique purpose.

I would never have even thought about Sitka if it wasn’t for their warranty.  Way cool  :tup:

Warranty work is a must at that price point. I'm just cautious of all high dollar clothes.

 :yeah:That's what I'm thinkin I can't justify 300 pants and 600 jackets, 70 boxers, 60 hats, 80 gloves, 80 base layer, 40 socks, ect when they're gonna last less than 5 years. I'll buy nice optics, guns, boots, and tents. Items that I can get my money out of over the years rather than being stylish in the woods

I use Sitka for duck hunting and don't have any issues with workmanship.

Just sent a pair of pants with a tear and a jacket with a broken zipper pull to rainy pass repair Expecting to pay to have them fixed. They fixed them, Gave me a free hat and warrentied it for free. Was pretty excited cause these are my favorite pants and i tore them going over a barbed wire fence.
 I sent then a email saying thanks. I'd encourage you guys to do the same when you get good service. take a minute to let them know how much its appreciated. I think that encourages them and might keep service like that going longer for us as a hunting community If it happens frequently when they return stuff.
