Maui in February

ALOHA  :IBCOOL:

Just booked a vacation to Maui in February. Figured I would take the bow and get a couple days in on public land, DIY. Anyone have any experience on Maui and know the units at all? Looking for feral goats and axis deer.

Thanks for suggesting I do a search. I searched the term Maui and came up with a nice post with pictures about a guy with a 6.5 creedmore who hunted Molokai and Maui. And a lot of stuff from 2010.

The reason I posted in the forum rather than just lurking and reading the threads that other people decided to post (and people responded to with substantive comments) was because I was looking to see if anyone around this forum has knowledge on the specific units that I could have a conversation with.

I Took A Axis Deer in April 3 years ago Too early in Year still small and  in Velvet

Did it taste good? I've got my Hawaii exemption letter already, trying to do research on the units right now. Did you hunt private or public? Any recommendations either way?

Hunted Private at This Place  http://www.mauideerhunting.com/pricing.php  The Meat Was pretty good closer to elk taste than Deer
