Idaho Archery Elk
« on: June 12, 2018, 10:12:31 AM »
Hi guys,

I am hunting Idaho for the first time this fall, and just learning the ropes of their online system. A friend who I am going with mentioned a " Bowhunting affidavit"

They were not sure its still required, and I see nothing about it on the website.

Any insight to share?

The deer are exactly where you find them, and no where you dont!

I think it will work fine since it's also for an archery season. You could ask IDFG to be sure.

If you have had a archery tag from Washington you can give Idaho the tag numbers off that tag over the phone and it will let you purchase a Idaho licence online.

It was in MT, but I used the multi season tag as proof for my son having had an archery valid permit from WA.  They accepted it as such and he didn't have to go through the paperwork.  I would think that ID would do the same.

:yeah: But call just to make sure.  The people that I dealt with prior to my cougar hunt were unbelievably helpful.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

I think so?  Website is set up so it requires all these precondition hoops to jump before allowing purchase of lic n then tag.?  I found it very irritating. Online purchase obviously. :dunno:
