My buddy who’s a major Cummins fan recommend Diesel Kleen when I asked this question in regards to a 99 VE Diesel Jetta. I believe it’s helped increase mileage a few mpg. I went from 42-43 to 44-47 with occasional 52 on a long road trip. Seems to keep things cleaned out

Those Jetta's got amazing mileage!

Waste of $.  Winter time only time fuel may need help.  I dump cheap 2 stroke oil in every so often.  Injector need lubed.  New fuel doesn't do this.  New trucks handle fuel better.  Install a GOOD fuel filter and be done.  If inj are dirty they are likely going bad regardless. :twocents:

Bio diesel has better lubricity and cleans your injectors etc. I run it any chance I get. Lots of people say better performance and mileage too.

So many different opinions on this stuff. We have a lot of people that come here and buy the Motorcraft cetane booster.

I use Diesel Kleen in my 7.3 every tank. If i skip a few tanks I can tell. It doesn't sound or feel quite as snappy. Other brand treatments may be as good or better, I don't know.
I'm not sure.

Clearly lots of opinions that's great, bottom line is using something is better than nothing. I buy my seafoam at Wm. It's the cheapest that I have found.

Have you ever heard of any studies or manufacturer recommendations?
