If they had an unconditional life time warranty I could justify the price. Personally I've never had waders last through the 3rd season, whether they were $100 or $350. No thanks, but I don't have a social media crowd to impress either.

Just think about how many pairs of these waders a guy could buy if he didn't buy a 3/4 diesel pickup to tow around his 16ft aluminum boat? Or if he didn't have 6+ $150 duck calls hanging on his lanyard? Or a trailer full of Dave Smith decoys? I guess it is all just perspective. Maybe a guy hunts 70 days a year and fishes another 70 days and wants to be comfortable? Idk, plenty of dudes in the fly fishing world buy Simms waders- they aren't much cheaper.
