One of the features that makes the TAC 15 nice for folks that already own an AR15 is that they'll have the same trigger pull as on the rifle (maybe that goes without saying, but for a stick-pulling old-school guy like me it seems like a big deal). This, as I understand it, is a leap in technology. Not to mention that it launches a 485 grain, 26" long projectile at 412 fps.

I am not trying to be rude, but I don't think cross bows belong in archery seasons.

I respect your thoughts on crossbows,and 10 yrs ago I might have said the same thing.But at 56 and in a wheelchair for most of my life,I view them now as a means to my dreamingbig.Hunting is what is important, any type of legal means to get me out doing what I love to do,I'll do it.We can all disagree about something,but all hunters should be on the same side.

just because you get around differently shouldnt mean that you dont get to pick your hunting method just like the rest of us!!!

Whats the big deal about using a crossbow.  I know nothing about it but does it have some advantage over another bow.

Crossbows are legal for people who hunt under the handicap permit. I would have no problem with a disabled individual using one as long as they followed the proper procedures. As far a abled body person using one completly against it, unless they used it durring the muzzloader or modern season.

Whats the big deal about using a crossbow.  I know nothing about it but does it have some advantage over another bow.   

Advantages over a regular bow...

1.  Arrow is always loaded and at "full" draw
2.  They have a scope mounted on them
