No luck on the Wyoming deer draw. Maybe next year.

I drew same antelope tag as last year except in the random draw this year.  Less than 5% odds.   :dunno:
(My bro/dad applied with about 50% draw odds with their number of preference points so I figured I'd put in for random draw.  I drew and they did not.)

Too bad I can't use my luck on a goat tag.

We drew our antelope tag and going off of last year draw odds, we should have had to wait one more year.  The increase of tag costs might have brought the odds on tags better due to lack of applicants.  who knows?????

Seven of us applied for deer and antelope this year. I drew both! Four of us have reported back so far with all four getting deer, but only two getting antelope. Still waiting on announcements from the other three.

For the deer unit I put in for. Last year 25% draw odds. This year 4% draw odds. That sucks.

Figured I was going to draw by buck antelope tag, so applied for a doe tag there as well. Didn’t draw the buck, drew the doe. That’s a long drive to shoot an antelope doe.

You had the option of checking the box on your application to take you out of the draw if unsuccessful in drawing the buck tag.

Shoot, didn’t see that. First time applying in Wyoming instead of just going with points. Thanks.

How about moving to Wyoming? Of all western states, would Wyoming be the best to become a resident in to get the most hunting benefits. Justf really fed up with Washington.

I'd move to MT over WY.
