Great writeup, hunt and pics!  I've tromped around that goat range a little, I suspect I know within a couple miles where you were.  Loved the discussion and decision about the 550 yard shot, this young man has better ethics than many adults!
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
