That’s some pretty serious country for an 11 year old.

how little points? Hopefully he has some legs.  My biggest question is, do you know what you guys got yourself into?  You either need A boat and a set of balls, or a game plan and stamina to climb out of the north country above the lake.

The hardest part about the lincoln tag is finding a ram NOT in someones front yard... lol

My son drew this goat tag with 4 points.  Lucky little bugger!  I’m sure we’ve got our work cut out for us.  Leaning towards hunting the higher country closer to the Northern part of the unit.  Still researching and considered our available options.

I’ve got two twelve year olds who can seriously pack and get after it but that gist unit is one full of extreme terrian,  I’d hire a packer to pack you in and out it would make the hunt much more easier from a logistic standpoint plus give me an unbelievable memory.

Ridgerunner I agree, and I appreciate your input.  I’ll definitely be enlisting some assistance from an Outfitter.  I want to help ensure that this will be a positive and safe experience for my son.  Looking forward to spending some time making memories in some rugged and beautiful country with my son!
