I checked my "moose cam" today, had 3000 ish pics of 2 small muley bucks, 1 doe w/ fawn and 2 moose bulls.

Unfortunately a bear or something got 12 feet up the tree and twisted my cam around.

I did notice one bull had a good amount of ticks, not life threatening, but quite a few!

no pics good enough to share  :'(
Dang, sorry to hear about a bear messing with your camera. I hate when that happens.

Here is a better picture of that bull. Still a terrible picture but you can see the antlers better.

Back in Colville. Getting ready to head up in the hills for a weekend of scouting. Last trip I mainly covered the unit learning the road system. This trip I'm going to go to the spots I have narrowed down and burn some boot leather. I'm also going to put up some trail cams. I'll be packing my bow starting tomorrow just in case I stumble into a buck. That would top off a great weekend of scouting. Hopefully I'll have more pictures to share this time. It's supposed to be significantly cooler than last trip.

It sounds like you're dialed. Fill up that freezer with the best meat on the planet! Best of luck.

My boys and I were doing a little scouting/grouse hunting yesterday out Aladdin, and we stumbled upon this guy. PM me if you would like the exact location, and I'd be more than happy to share it with you.

It was a good scouting trip. Ended up seeing two moose, a bear, a bunch of deer, a lot of turkeys and grouse. One of the moose was a bull and he was an opening morning shooter. Tall, big paddles and doubled brow tines. I got to really pick apart my chosen hunting area and learned a bunch. I set up a few cameras although I think the majority of my pictures will be moo cows :chuckle:. Thanks to some good tips from members on here I got to check out some other good looking areas. Feeling pretty good about my upcoming hunt. Less than a month from go time! I took a couple of pictures of the bull but they look horrible on the camera. I'll see what they look like once they are on my computer and Hopefully they are good enough to post here. Thank you to everyone who has helped me out. I really appreciate it and Hopefully I'll be able to fill my once in a lifetime tag.
