Spotter recommendations Lue, Vortex? $800-$1500 range?
« on: June 28, 2018, 05:45:34 PM »
Anybody got experience with the Vortex® Razor® HD Spotting Scope or the Lue SX-2 Kenai 2, 25-60x80mm HD?  I have been a Lue guy for many years but there is a lot of good info on youtube about the Vortex.  It is time to upgrade to a solid spotter.  Or any recommendations in the $800 to $1500 range?
Thanks,

Vortex Razor is on sale on Camofire for $800 I think, that's what I would be buying.  For me, it's equal parts good glass and flawless warranty as I tend to drop stuff.

I would look for a used Meaopta Meostar 82MM. These can be had in the range you are looking if you are patient and it is high end glass. They also have a transferable warranty. The cabelas instinct euro 82mm is the same scope rebranded.
