Prefered calls
« on: June 22, 2018, 07:41:51 PM »
Looking to try some new calls for bear hunting this year. Wondering what your goto calls are? I currently use a wounded rabbit primos call, which has been successful.

The primos you using great for bear also circle raspy jackrabbit. A lot of great calls out there. I use elk also a lot. Rick

I also use the Primos wounded jackrabbit call and have had some good success in the past. I usually just spot and stalk and leave the call in my pack. Bearmanric sells some great calls and I'm sure you could purchase a few awesome calls from him.

A call made by Rick is always my preferred call. His calls work well and look good too! He is also a good source for hunting/calling advice.

I like both Bearmaric's calls and Rainshadow1's calls.  The first few bears I called in was with a Jones Javalina call.  Really loud and raspy.
