Fishing in the Monroe / Duvall Area
« on: June 28, 2018, 08:13:05 AM »
Hello All!

Does anybody know of some good spots to put a boat in around the Monroe / Duvall area?

I recently purchased a used 16' Alumacraft with a 25hp Mercury and i'm looking for some ideas as to where to launch it.

Took it up to flowing lake last weekend but it was really small and pretty congested with the jet-ski crowd.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Also: If anybody local ever wants to team up and go fishing please send me a DM!

Awesome! I assume the river is deep enough for a Deep V style boat?

In some places.  The V isn't the issue, the prop is.  There is deep enough water but you do have to be careful.
