mounting sheds
« on: October 21, 2007, 03:22:52 PM »

Anyone do this?  I've got a pair of blacktail sheds I was thinking about mounting.  A real nice 3x4 set.

I've done an elk, in the middle of a big two point and have a set of whities I'd like to mount.

I have an amazingly heavy set that my dad and I picked up two years apart. Mine has some serious porcupine damage so that has prevented me from getting it done. If some one knows how to repair chew maks let me know JB

Look through a few of the treads in the taxidermy section.  Their is a post on here where we have already discused this using several different methods.

As for mounting sheds it's realy not that hard.  I will try and find out some info and get it to you one where to buy a good skul cap and kit.  PM me if you don't hear from me in a few days.   ;)
