Could they not ask for testing before issueing tags in those GMU's?  Easy cheezy done at time of purchase right?  No brainer to me? Tag would show Grizz approved!! :chuckle:

I thought the bear test photos I got were great.  If you want to see some crappy photos, click on the mountain goat gender quiz.  Everything is about a mile away and horrible resolution.

Sure glad I saw this thread!  Just took the WA test.  Super easy!

Then I took the Montana test that was linked.  I missed one, but I disagree!!!

The photo shows a black bear, black in color, with possibly a small brown patch on it's shoulder.  To me, that small brown patch looked like sunlight hitting it from a low angle, (Think sunset.)  The question was, "Is this a brown phase Black Bear?"  I answered NO, because I don't see it as a brown phase...lol.  It was completely black, with sunlight creating what looked like a small brown patch...haha.

100% on both for me

I don’t like that I have to print it off. I don’t have a printer.  It should just be linked to my wild id so when I get checked they know.
Now that we have proof we can tell black bear apart from grizz we should be able to open spring bear in 113.
