Big bull observatory
« on: July 04, 2018, 02:03:20 PM »
Just a quick question. Is the frost meadows area packed with hunters during archery season? I know a guy who hunted it bull muzzy and did good but there where others in there. Waist of time scouting or not.

It can be busy at times. It has a lot of road access which tends to bring in people especially on motorcycles.

I got lucky and killed the muzz state record in 03 or so LOL can't remember. Of course our record books only show those who share and there is always a bunch of great animals never entered.   Killed him on Oct 2 and they were bugling and screaming.  I think Taneum was included back then?

Shot a record book bull in 2016 with the observatory muzzy bull permit. Hunting north facing slopes and calling worked for me! Good Luck!

Gets a lot of traffic.  Think obscure pockets usually.  Then find one standing in the middle of the road.
