Anybody know which old gun this is?
« on: July 21, 2018, 08:02:47 AM »
It's my friends, that he inherited from his late father-in-law, an accomplished gunsmith.    The SN is visible, bult the gun is quite old and has been blued several times, the manufacturer, caliber and model is unreadable.

not enough in the pictures to tell which variant it is but it is a 1903-Asomething.  Either an A1 or an A3.

Aren’t most bolt guns cocked when you close the bolt? Normally doesn’t mean it is loaded. Though I am not familiar with that model to know for sure
