Anyone keeping an eye on Salmon Steelhead fishing for this summer/fall. I finally have a boat that I trust to take me places reliably. I want to Fish for Salmon and Steelhead on the Columbia and Snake Rivers. from McNary Dam upriver and From Ice Harbor to Little Goose Dam. Last couple years the steelhead fishing got shut off so hopefully this year......

Been watching the dam counts for a while. Looks like the steelie's are starting their run. My little boat is down so I am not looking at salmon on the Columbia but will be hitting the bank above Ice harbor for metal heads, If they dont shut us down again or go to under 28". Check the reg's for around the Tri-Cities. Looks like they changed things up a bit.

That was one of my favorite spots that you're talking about. You wouldn't happen to have a link for me would you?

Also, make sure to check on the emergency rule changes on WDFW's site. A guy could get in trouble if not careful. There is nothing on the snake listed at this time, but that could change.
