Give me a standard accubond all day long. The lr.....nope.
Headed to sportsmans today to buy the Hornaday ELD-X 212 grain bullets. I was uber frustrated with the accubonds LR's and really wasn't that impressed with the 200 grain accubond in this particular rifle. Loaded 5 different powder loads with recommended OACL (running short on time).....76.5 grains of H1000 posted a 5 shot group of .71". Now to tweek and play with the seating depth a little more and HOPEFULLY have a round this rifle likes. Sooooooo.......never shot the ELD-X before.....Good or Bad??
Might want to seat off the ogive.
How does a good load at 100 not shoot well at 200? Angles presumably don't increase over distance Windy?
