Nice fish CP!

I did a couple quick trips before work this week and also didn't run into any coho.  Likely back out tomorrow, depending on the weather.

I hope the weather improves, snotty and lumpy out there.  Still feels like I’m on the boat, the room is swaying a bit.

I limited five days in a row and then yesterday in the PM tide nothing.  Didn’t even hook a shaker.

That was my first day out fishing in the Pm though.  Hoping the mornings stay good this week.  I talked to a warden at the ramp and he said the MA10 quota was at 50% or so.

Well if the wind lays down I'll try the oil dock area in the morning.  Haven't tried there yet this season.

I heard the oil docks is doing well. We did Jeff Head today, good bite at the tide change and then died. We got our two kings but no coho.

Yesterday we got a sockeye on the west side. That was a first in the sound for me. Caught them in MA 7 but never further south.

The oil docks wasn't happening this morning but yes, Jeff Head was on fire just before the tide change.

Southern 10 seems to have dried up as far as I have observed for Kings.  Haven’t caught one since Thursday.  Did catch some resident silvers this morning.  Guess heading north is the ticket.

1/4 to the boat and missed 2-3 others, bunch o dinks and extra fins.  I can’t complain about the weather though.

Bite was pretty stellar at the tide change.  There were nets flying everywhere.  Caught three kings and a silver.  Haven’t seen too many native kings this year.  Let one swim.  All of the fish are the same size this year.  Where are the larger fish?

There’s at least one good sized one swimming around out there.  He has a white lightning Coho Killer stuck in his jaw.  If you happen upon him I’d like my spoon back.

We did our best to retrieve your spoon, seemed like the big fish were hard to find today.  We ended up with probably close to 10 bites and nothing larger than an average early coho.

I did see a few good fish caught, but they were at least 10:1 with the dinks where we were fishing.  The deepest water we were in was 150', so they may have done better out in the channel.

Great day, just wish I could have found a nook or two.
