I can see how you totally missed that at first glance.  I have done the same thing and then scrolled back through the photos after the next photo comes up and what I thought was a bush is missing.

I'd like to change my guess.  By the silhouette, I think it may have been one of these.... moving to the right  :rolleyes:

Look at the height of the deer in their pic and then the other. In the same spot way to low and the shape really looks like a lion.

Looks like a big cat. But everything looks like a trophy in the fog lol. If it’s even somewhat close to where I’m guessing... a real big one has been seen in the general area, within a Cats range anyways.

I got the magnifying glass out.  Nope no cougar and I don't see a deer head down eating either.
I don't see any animal in the first picture, or maybe something in the bottom right (kind of looks like two faces of stuffed teddy bears)

Deer in the second picture for sure so maybe they set it off just as the fog lifted or ....

I'm going with a ghost / apparition   :yike:
