Good deal Smossy.  A buddy of mine has been getting into lots of kings (coast rivers), but only a few will bite.  Had snow in the mountains down to about 6000' which started melting already and picking up the rivers.

Fished the Hump this past Saturday. Water was really low, but found a sweet deeper hole where fish were holding. First hour of light was on fire Fishing eggs under a float. Add some bloody tuna to your cures. Seems to be a key scent to getting these fish to bite. I suggest, getting to a spot before sunrise before anyone else gets there. Once the locals show up, it’s a snag fest and they’ll make sure to run you out of that place.

that's the humptulips, i would wait for a bit more rain before making that trip myself, fishing that river in low water is frustrating.  outside of the popular spots(salmon hatchery, dike road, reynvaan's bar etc) access is pretty spotty,  unless you have a boat.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

Any fly fishers with tips for the Nooksack river?  Any advice, especially regarding tackle and strategy, would be greatly appreciated. Headed up there this week.

Lol at Stevens creek you’ll have fun hooking fish, and hooking other people’s fish! Make sure to leave your bad tempers and attitudes at home haha. But good spot to catch some fish.
