I'd plan on using spot and stalk, or rather "sneak and peek" unless I had private access to unpressured deer.
If you're on the main public block, I'd plan on getting in at least a ways from the main access points. There can be deer nearer, but expect more the deeper you go in general. Then find some higher points and start looking for deer. Focus on the bitter brush patches. Be careful when approaching the dunes to "sneak and peek". Those older does' eyes are trained to the tops of the dunes and ridges and they'll spot you from a mile away. Be careful and you can have them right under your feet.

Fun area to hunt and a good chance for success. Best of luck.
