Stealth Cam Issues
« on: July 23, 2018, 02:03:50 PM »
Yesterday while setting a cam (Stealth Cam P36) I set it up where I wanted and turned it on to take a few pics while I set my block up, so I could check angle, height and all that good stuff. I checked the 6 pictures it took in that time, cleared the card and put it back in, turned the camera back on. Now it is saying "NoCard". Any ideas what is going on?

How did you look at the pictures and clear the card?

I'm not actually sure on that. I didn't even know that was a feature on an SD card. Ill have to give that a look, when I get home.

Clear card with camera only. Do not delete pictures with any other device. Trust me, it will make life way easier.

I never switch sd cards with trail cams. I always check and delete right there and put back in cam.. I have never had a issue in 15 years of running cams deleting pics from tablet, phone or laptop and putting back in cam

Some of the cams are real particular as to what type of SD card they will take. Try one of the higher quality cards and see if that works.

Thanks for all the feed back, guys. It was definitely the lock on the SD card. Thanks DoubleLunger for the thought. I tried putting the card in my reader last night and if I put it in at the right angle it snags the lock and shuts it down :bash: Good news is this just means I have to make another trip to the mountains to set this cam. Silver lining right? Thanks again for all the ideas guys!
