First cat on camera.
Unfortunately no Elk or Deer just this guy and a bad bear pic.

Looks like it's plenty healthy.

Nice healthy looking cat, a real deer killing machine.

I need to quit procastrating and get the two cameras I have set out.

Wow, awesome. That cat looks very dark, is it just the lighting?

Time is actually off by 24 hours so it would have been a morning pic, but you can see the low clouds so could be a little darker because of that?

Hoping to go check cameras again Sunday and if I get more pics time to look into where I could setup to  try and get a shot.

A road kill deer would be a good bait for that cat

Interesting idea,  Too bad I am in Clark county.  Saw one on the way to work that I cannot touch.

I think westside cats are a little darker/more red to their coat.

When they're damp they look darker, but often coastal cats are a lot more gray than dry siders, which can go fawn to yellow. No consistent for sure-zies on color though.

Really healthy looking cat!

Interesting.  My wifes cat from the westside looks way more red/orange than my Idaho cat did.  Maybe it was the time of the year.  :dunno:

Varying shades of Khaki! (Unless you're in Louisiana, then the hangers on are black!) Lots of stories of Black ones in the old days, especially south, but the scientistic stuff in the past few decades all talk about how you can't really color code by anything. Concolor, monochrome, just varying shades.
