I’ll get it started but I’m not telling the score until you guess. There’s 2 pics on that link. Scroll down to see 2nd pic. 26 inches wide to give a little cheat.

I'll go with 158, but don't hate me if I cheated you.

That is a great buck.

Right on the money! 157

I added an inch in case any of my measurements were off because I didn't want to cheat you.

184”.

I was nervous about shooting him.  I thought he was mid-180’s before I shot, but I remember walking up on him and thinking “if he is 165”...”. 😬

Wow I’ve scored a lot of critters and I never would have guessed 184. Pictures are deceiving. Nice buck!

Same buck.  Super tough to judge when they have melon heads and giant bodies.

They are not.  Unfortunately,  I haven’t figured out how to kill a big one here.

You have to change your definition of big one.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Same here! I’ve killed a couple nice ones in WA but still haven’t hit that 180 mark

You kill a 180” deer in WA, you’ve really done something!

One more.  These bucks were killed 5 years apart - about 8 miles from each other and score within 3" of each other.   Completely different bucks and I think one is "way bigger", but they actually score very close.

typical bucks can be tough to judge in pics. epsecially if they have a lot of curvature.

What's going on in the top pic on the passenger side?  Is that a forked g3 or some sort of an inline?  Any side shots?
