I've had both the XLR and MDT chassis and I prefer the MDT mostly for aesthetic reasons. The best combo is an MDT with an XLR buttstock. The XLR buttstock is adjustable for everything and you can really get it dialed in so it fits perfect.

I may have to order one.
Also check out the MDT skeleton Rifle stock to use with the LSS-XL. It is a newer buttstock with full adjustability.FYI, MDT is setting up in Everson WA. In a few weeks you will also be able to come by to handle the product before you buy
This is my Savage 12 prairie dog / varmint rig in .223 REM riding in a MDT HS3 chassis with Magpul PRS stock and Ergo grip. Shooting 53 grain VMAX @ 3300 FPS and Berger 70 grain @ 2935. Target is 200 yard with the 70 gr Bergers.
