So the question was brought to me recently.....and ide like to answer it......

Kind of an interesting story...
So how does a kid that really doesnt ever have money get enough saved quickly to buy a $2000 rifle?
ANSWERSo i have grown up with every extra minute of my child hood being in the woods or out in the desert with a bb gun ........So i began collecting hunting stuff at a very young age.....im a hunting stuff pak rat.
then i have done alot of trades along the way also....keep this all in mind for later....
So the story begins.....with me getting a really nice 17hmr....shot it, and then i wanted to sell it....so i ended up getting an offer i couldnt refuse.......so i trades it for a pistol> Then my awesome dad(who introduced me to hunting) wanted my pistol so i traded it for a compact glock that my dad didnt like much, neither did i> then i traded that for cash to some one for a good price> then i turned around and got another pistol for myself......good deal> then my father-in-law wanted that pistol...lol....So he told me he had a gun he would trade for it if i was interested told me the value and said i could sell it if i wanted and told me what it was worth......so i traded up to a really nice expensive older revolver, thanks to my father in law.....but i dont need a revolver....> so i tried selling it.....no buyers....so i removed my ad off gunbroker.....then i got an email trade offer for over 10 plus guns....(i had all kinds of offers for that old thing)...but back to the story....
The guy said take your pick, let me know which one your interested in....I wrote back to him and said i really want stainless....So he said the accumark is the only one thats stainless....Well i didnt know what an accumark was worth so i asked around about the caliber...a wierd 30-378, never heard of it......i liked, it was different......then i said lets do it...
The guy told me how much it was worth and said ill buy the gun and you give me 300 bucks and well call it a deal...
So i got into my hunting fund....(money that i save year round for hunting licenses and out of state tags) and bought the rifle.....which wiped out my funds......which is why i have been selling stuff....cause i still need hunting money....lol...............
SO THAT IS HOW YOU PAY $800 BUCKS OUT OF POCKET OVER A YEARS TIME FOR A $2000 DOLLAR RIFLE.
So was it a good deal or luck? it was alot of both at the right time.....and i have everyone that helped along the way to thank for it...........SO THANK YOU!
So my lesson is ....one mans treasure is worth alot more in another mans hands....So why not trade up if you have the patients................................took me a while and annoyed the hell out of my wife, but now that she sees what i have she agrees also that it was worth it....
well thanks for reading.......anyone else do anything like this to get what they wanted? hurdles?
