Sorry.  Just saw this.   been hunting.   Well I've had the truck about 18 months now.   But I only have about 12,000 miles on it.   No problems.   Seems on par with the other Toyota's I've owned.  This 3.5 V6 is quite a bit different than the 4.0 V6.  I currently own a 4Runner with the 4.0 V6 and have had another Tacoma with the 4.0 V6.  This 3.5 motor doesn't have the low end torgue or power that the 4.0 had.  Once you get the rpms up it goes good.  My only complaint with the truck is this new 6 speed automatic seems to want to shift a lot.  I have a couple of sons that live down in the Vancouver area so take this down once in a while.  It cruises the freeway great.  I usually set the cruise at 75 and it has plenty of power.  Seats are comfortable.  Fuel mileage isn't the best. I've never checked it but would guess around town maybe 15 and on the hiway 20.  I have a 16 ft Hewescraft  that I tow with this.  It probably weighs a little over 2000 pounds and you don't even hardly know it's back there.  I'm pretty satisfied with it and wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.
