Congrats on the new truck. I see a lot of them driving around. Seems to be the year to get a new truck with all the new ones on the road.

I can't even fathom paying that much for a truck, nice rigs!  I'll steer clear of the seat cover comments!  :)

I'm going to be trading in my Tundra on a Silverado 2500 or 3500 when I get back stateside in a week. Haven't quite narrowed down if it's going to be a 2500 or a 3500, all depends on what the dealer has available and what deals are going on. Can't wait to get into a diesel.

On a GM truck the diesel option is a little over 9000 dollars.  If a gas truck gets 15mpg and a diesel gets 20mpg assuming that fuel prices are the same for both and do not change the price of the diesel will break even at 180000 miles.  Food for thought.  The company I work for  no longer buys diesels only gas trucks.  We have way less problems now.

Ive heard some guys complain that the chevys are too boxy looking and prefer the roundness of the Ram truck. But for my money I think the full size chevys look great. Putting a canopy on em really makes them look cool.

Not sure about the problems but, unless there's a Carfax accident reported, you will always get that $9k back in resale/tradein value.
