Keep in mind those are gutted and gilled weights, about 3 pounds short of live weight.  We did well, in the prizes, but the bite was certainly the hardest of all week.  The weather rolled in and they were not nearly as hungry as any day this week.

Overall, a good derby, better than the last one (catch rates and sizes), but not quite as good as it could have been.

I didn’t fish but suspect the weather change put them off the bite. Time to eat to makin babies and being sensitive to the barometer.

I was hoping to hear a glowing report, not nets.

I did notice anecdotally that a bunch of people seemed to have switched to MA10 last couple of days.

I might get out tomorrow, we'll see how work goes.

easy limits at the west side of the bar yesterday. made the run to double bluff at 5 am this morning and had limits  at daybreak but only in the 5 to 6 pound range.

Let's get some reports today. Water color better in 8 2 and 9? Nets cleaning out the area? Got things to do today but will be out in the am.

still dealing with lots of grass, fish have gone deeper..i am doing better at 80 to 110 in 400 ft of water. things really heat up at tide change. Mukilteo or westside of possession have been the best for me. net boats were still at shipwreck last night when I left

FW, are you finding fish that deep early too?  Or just later in the morning and the evening?

Looking pretty sketch tomorrow.......

Grrr, was going to go for it, but small craft advisory in a 15 foot whaler is more sketch than I like!  Might still go and just try to tuck out of the wind.

Btw, at least 100 boats yesterday and today in front of shilshole. Good bite yesterday, not as good today. I put one really nice fish in the box today when it was still pretty dark out, but no bites the next two hours after that.

That will be sporty. Maybe you can stay behind West Point with the south blow?
