My 2 boys will be six in November and I've been toying with getting them bows.  How big is your son?  I'm trying to figure out if they are big enough yet.

:yeah:

I have one who's six and we will be moving to eastern WA soon.  I would like to get him started in archery as we will have much much more outdoors time and space.

Now I see you answered above.  Well done, dad.

Awesome! My oldest watches me and my wife shoot most nights and is constantly asking for his own bow. Then he goes and bow hunts bighorn sheep in our pasture lol looking forward to that moment!

Thats awesome.  I started my son at 5 just took him out and let him blow on the coyote call and hiked around and drank hot chocolate and hostess pies.  By 6 he was shooting his 243.  At 8 he passed hunter safety and on his second day of deer hunting shot a pretty good 3 point.  Can out hunt  and out shoot me any day of the week

Keep the kids on this path and it will serve them and you well....
Shoot straight Shoot often

Bought my 11yr old granddaughter her first bow about 2 months ago. She's ready to increase her draw weight. Next is hunter safety so she can go out next year with us.

Our son turned 1 yesterday. I'm so excited to see what the next few years bring us!
