Interesting!
The Mahindra tractors and UTVs are very popular on the large farms hear in OK. Not John Deere popular, but you do see them often.

Of coarse I would never do that, just sayin. :dunno:

It would be legal anywhere UTVs are legal.  If I lived in such a place I'd own one.

I was told that it didn’t meet crash test requirements. Not sure that is the reason.

Excellent point, you can licence a donor cycle, but not this? >:( This would make a great commuter car for me, at 30-35 miles a gallon it beats anything I got now.

Cool, but I am not a fan of the roll bar.  Hopefully the rig is pretty lightweight, those bars to not look near heavy enough for any real roll over protection though, looks smaller than most rzr bar I have seen?

This one just complicated my choices.  There is one on display at the Sportsman Show in Portland.  Seriously interested.

Top speed of 45 mph. :dunno: It would be a fun toy.

The second video shows it with a tune and they got it to 73 mph and up to about 60 hp.  They also mentioned a street legal kit.

Looks fun, but I'm not sure I would be confident I could get parts for it, especially if they go under, get bought or whatever.  Jeep is suing them.

Watched a few more videos, those things are sweet.  I had a 40's Willys, this looks to carry a bunch of the cool but with an engine and transmission that actually work.

That 2.5 diesel in their ag gear is a worker.  This is fat man 4 wheeler dream here.  I would be tempted to play the Willie's swap.

Looked at the "Ted Nugent Call of the Wild" model Mahindra at the sportsman show in Portland today. What a cool rig. I asked the dealer about the jeep lawsuit and he said they have settled with jeep.

Got this from dealer.  "We can send out ECUs and get them re-flashed so you gain 25 hp 40 foot pounds of torque and 30 mph. That costs $500"

Lawsuit doesn't concern me.  Look at all the 'Yeti' coolers out there now.  I don't see them disappearing too quick.   :dunno: :twocents:

I read there was some federal rule about emissions or something that prevents importing as a "vehicle" vs a ATV or off road fun rig. But not sure.
