We are going to be locked out til after elk season just like last year I believe! It sucks but I see this starting to happen all the time to. We need a rain dance!

There is a fire on the boarder of Hancock White River unit, i have emailed hancock and they told me they will not open until that fire is out and we have a bunch of rain. NOT looking good especially since they are letting that fire burn out naturally. Fire name is wrong creek.
Pretty much BS....

It'll likely take much more of a sustained soaker to reconsider, probably 3-4 days of rain along with reduced temps.  Every little bit helps though.

Sounds like that region might have been dumped on in the foot hills.

I will not be renewing my pass next year. Archery deer season available dates are a joke and shed hunting is a circus.

That's the trouble when they close down every year- you start finding other places to hunt.
