Even worse today, visibility about 150 yards, I worked outside this morning and I'm still stuffed up.

How does the smoke affect the animals behavior? I know when it’s hot they hange out in deep cool timber. But, when it’s hot and Smokey how does it affect them?

It's so smoky the temp at my place only got up to 75 today, my son had 95 in northern Idaho where it isn't as smoky. The turkeys and deer seem to be acting more or less the same, I see them everyday around my place. They have to eat and drink!

:yeah:  :bash: drove by badger mtn a while ago couldn’t  even see it from Keene! Any idea where the Tri cities  smoke is coming from? New fire close by? Or just settling in from other fires?

Fires from BC. Check out http://cliffmass.blogspot.com/, I really like his scientific approach.

Lived here for almost 48 years and Ive never seen anything like this. I'm all about "manning up" when it comes to weather but this is just nuts. My poor neighbor who has COPD has been on oxygen for the last 2 weeks. Poor guy.

Thanks for the link 👍🏻
