As you can see, lots of antler variation.  Wide flat, tall, tall and wide, split brow tines and lots of 'stuff' as they age.  Talked to a palouse resident today, old boy with at least 14 total points around his place.  The locals would probably call him a 4x4.  Largest we have scored was 178 and change non-typ. A general down trend in mass and points has occurred since the point minimum rules started but a higher buck to doe ratio.

Never hunted it, but heard the last 3 days are the best.   Also, sounds like 140" is pretty dang good buck for that hunt.

All these years we you've been telling me to hold out for 230 though.

That would be two good Palouse bucks.

You can get doe tags for the Palouse? At least for modern I thought you could only get does further north during the late season.

I've been unsuccessful in the Palouse for the couple of seasons since I've started hunting. I almost always see other hunters on the limited public land that's available, but I've never seen anybody actually get a deer.

Both JJ Hunter and I are from there and just giving each other grief. With it being mosly private, we see lots of tresspassing and shenanigans.

had that tag or the one that was for whitetail antlerless, and only seen Muley's lol. Hunted around Washtucna, and all over that area. Seen one place just out of town, "Washtucna" that looked like it would hold lots of whitetails, but all No Trespassing.  :bash: I have no doubt with access and the pics prove it, that there are lots of nice Whitetails there.
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

I think this tag is going to be a bust for me.  Can't find any public land with white tails.  Anyone have some leads?
Right wing shooter, I aim for the left!!!

Nowhere in your incoherent rambling did you come close to what can be considered a rational thought. Everyone is now dumber having heard it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.
